Why didn’t anybody tell me nine inch nails were awesome? How was this allowed to happen.

Got coreldraw fixed! i’m pretty sure i didn’t do anything either, which means on the third day it just decided to stop crashing 20 seconds after launch every time, for no reason.

Been enjoying the whole no university thing lately. Shit is cash when you’ve got no commitments. That said on the other hand cash is shit when you don’t have a real job. But at least i’m updating the comic, and isn’t that really what matters?

Yeah, you’d say that wouldn’t you!

I spent the entirety of last night playing minecraft. And then i spent most of today sleeping.

The above statement would be mundane and commonplace if you simply switched the night and day around. Playing games all day and sleeping most of the night is a pretty normal thing to do. But i’m too cool for that. I did it backwards, because i’m badass.

Furthermore, while i was at this minecraft lan, i transferred the starcraft 2 game files to she who will become my latest padawan. I have taught many people to play starcraft, and i am well able to teach people at a low level because i play random: I play every race, and i care little for which one i get in a given game. I’ve already taught a number of people to play, but this time its different for a few reasons, some of which are that this student has never played a strategy game before, is female, and is approaching the experience with a “willing to learn” mentality.

We shall destroy great things.

Not impressed with my unit coordinator for my computer science subject at the moment, given that he didn’t post the time for the exam anywhere, and i ended up having to email him to get the time out of him. That said he gets bonus points for scheduling it at 5:30, which, because it coincides with dinner, is probably the best time i could imagine an exam being scheduled, given that i get to drop in at hungry jacks when its over (thats what burger king is called in australia, for those of you who don’t know. I think when they tried to start up the franchise over here, the name was already taken)

Super keen for the holidays, due in part to the fact that i have a rather busy lan schedule planned! In december lansmash is on, so i’ll have to do my compulsory show-up-to-win-everything dealio. And other than that i’m planning to have a number of smaller personal lans with friends, one of whom is both a girl and attractive, which flies in the face of everything we have ever known about women and computers. I plan to perform more research on the matter. For science.

The inevitable downside of setting up a comic buffer is the fact that you end up invariably making a couple of comics in a single day, meaning that when it comes to pass that you’re supposed to write a post with each one, there’s no passage of time to delimit the two and introduce new things to talk about in the second post. So you end up resorting to meta-discussion, which is what i’m doing now, and that only works once.

I still am not an artist so if you feel like being a direct accessory to this comic upgrading from shitty stick figures and twice a week into epic comicry, please send me (either by fax or cryo-tube) an artist so i don’t have to do it all myself.

But yeah, i’m back, thats kind of cool. I have to admit i missed being able to throw shit at a wall, and have people post comments on it. And i plan to do so much more in the future, this blog shall feel the pain of all my psychological disorders at once!

Speaking of psychological disorders, in particular crippling narcissism, a boyfriend of a friend of mine suggested that he would be able to beat me in a first-person shooter. PS: If you are a fellow Tier 5 quake player that video probably won’t impress you much, as it was only made out of a pool of 20 minutes of playtime. But if you’re not, then whoa, prepare to have your cock blown up.

Anyway, hopefully i’ll see a lot more of you chaps and chapettes in the future as i continue comicking into the sunset.
